While I like to let my hair down a little (what's left of it) when it comes to outings with the kids, they know that I'm old and don't get into gossip and drama. There HAS be a line when dealing with students.
From that, I will say these three words:
FAMILIARITY BREEDS CONTEMPT
ALL young teachers AND some older ones who are trying to stay young need to understand this concept. I may act like a wet blanket sometimes, but that's ok with me.
