[ Post a Response | The Yellow Board ]

I need some ideas. I'm attempting to establish the correct way to enter the classroom. Tried starting outside the room and entering quietly as many times as it takes (7 is what it took). I think with a smaller group, that would be an effective tool but I don't think it's working for us. Tomorrow I'm going to project a timer up on the board to show how much time they have until we start rehearsal and also that they need to keep their voices at whisper level. When we finally get rehearsal started, it's a battle to get them to use correct posture and hand position, much less air support. I'm a broken record as I constantly remind them. I have a center aisle in the setup and I'm up and moving around quite a bit. Any tips? This is unfamiliar territory. Thanks in advance!
