I understand. Last year after we were told that everyone would get a raise at the district convocation they showed the "new" salary schedule that had a beginning, a midpoint and a maximum salary. Was told I didn't get a raise because I already made too much money based on some formula, which I have never figured out. Can maybe understand how they figured that when you consider I have 30 plus years experience, have a 200 day contract and a stipend. But my wife who took ten years off off of teaching to have our kids, and only has 9 years of experience with a miniscule choir stipend was told she made too much money also. Go figure!
