not sure if the percentage changes based on date of retirement. I met with TRS in April and they told me, the school is required to contribute to TRS for the position, since you would be retired, they would contribute both portions to TRS. In April, the percentage was 14.83. Some districts will consider a retiree if the retiree is willing to repay the contribution to TRS. This is obviously negotiable, but it is something that districts have to consider.
