The Combat City Classic is a fully sponsored tourny by Combat Sports, TAI/Elite sports, and the city of Alcoa.It will be held on the baseball field at Alcoa High School and Springbrook Park with Poleclimbers being the B-P fields for the tourny teams.
USSSA rules will apply to the event.Combat will be supplying all tournament play bats and placed in the dug-outs. 1/2 dozen balls will be given upon registering, any balls needed after that must be purchased at the event.Friday night will be a blind draw for the bracket by a volunteer from the crowd along with Rusty Bumgardner then a HR derby to follow. A representitive from each team MUST be present on friday night for the draw and registration.Combat and Elite will have trailors with available products at the event.The tournament entry fee will be $250.00 due at registration.
UPPER DIVISION:
10HR then singles
12 players to bat
1 courtesy runner per inning
no time limit per game
double elimination
LOWER DIVISION:
5HR then singles
12 players to bat
1 courtesy runner per inning
no time limit per game
double elimination

Balls will be provided for the HR derby on Fri. night. A copy of the tournament rules will be given at registration.In case the upper division does not have enough teams, both divisions will NOT be combined, however, if this is the case the lower division MAY be turned into a 3GG with the first game being a pool play. The lower division has several teams in it thus far.1ST,2ND,3RD, places will be awarded in each division along with the tournament MVP.
