Tomoko went undefeated into the championship, beating the Outlaws and Mayhem by a run a piece, Outlaws were beat by web gem by Andrew Cox, and Mayhem was beat by an extra inning, no out, three-run walk off by Andrew Cox.
The first championship game was dominated by the Mayhem bats, they pounded the ball and Tomoko's defense was faulty allowing a big inning. It was ended in the fifth 28-18. Then the second championship game was decided on a coin toss because the officials claimed that the lights would turn of at 11 O'Clock, it was 1140 when the coin toss took place, and the lights were still exuberent. Tiny Barbour took heads, and Tomoko won on a best two out of three coin toss. Too bad it had to be decided that way because both teams played extraordinarily well.
