This tournament was cancelled due to the lack of teams.
There were 42 teams that qualified either in the D state or the two E states in TN. This does not, of course, include the surrounding states that held state tournaments.
There were some other teams that wanted to enter but had not qualified in any state tournament. They said that they would not take the world birth if they won but what happens to the teams that went thru the correct process and took the time to qualify correctly. Is this fair if the non-qualifing team eliminates a qualified team and thus the qualifed team does not get the chance for the paid birth to the world tournament.
I hope this explains why the Natiuonal was cancelled.
