the excuse Marvel is giving is that "Maleev needs a break" when he is working on other stuff with Bendis already. I think this had more to do with the tepid sales (THANKS, MARVEL!!!! SEE HOW THE "REVOLUTIONARY GAME-CHANGING" GIMMICK KILLED THE BOOK???) and BENDIS' OWN LOSS OF INTEREST than with anything else. It's just a slap to the face of her fans, after 4 years of teasing them, to just give them one arc.
And come on, Maleev's art is gorgeoua, but someone else could have done the art...Coipel, CHo, Yu, Immonen, Finch, Cheung, tons of artists out there.
Ugh, this sucks...
