im glad they are adressing jessica's powers finally! I am wondering if anyone knows if she can fly without her glider wings, or was that just one of the skrull queens abilities. As you remember, Jessica stated she could fly a little, but it took her a few tries, when she saved that guy in her first appearance in Avengers. She was wearing only a buisness suit. Also, did she get her immunity to toxins back? As everyone knows she sacrificed this ability to save Bill Foster. I woulda let his butt die!

: Once again, Bendis has proven to me that he
: writes solo titles far, far better than team
: books. This issue, the depressed Jessica
: Drew, now languishing in a Madripoor jail
: after killing a Skrull last issue, is
: interrogated by one of the detectives. Using
: her pheromone powers, Jessica gets the guy
: to fall for her and help her escape. The
: thing is, she can't shut this power off
: right away, so she ends up affecting the
: minds of more than just the cop's. In any
: case, Jesscia escapes, only to run into more
: cops. Then, what appears to be a Skrull
: craft attacks, but Jessica soon thinks it's
: a SHIELD hovercar when the craft attacks the
: cops and helps her escape. But the attack
: against the cops was fatal, and Jessica
: realizes the truth -- it's a Hydra craft,
: and when the door opens, out steps the
: lovely and lethal Ophelia Sarkissian, aka
: the Viper, whose last line sends chills down
: Jessica's spine: "Come give Momma a
: hug."
:
: I definitely can't wait for the reunion of
: Jessica and the Viper next issue! It's a
: long time in coming. Bendis supposedly liked
: SW #42-44, so it looks like he's dealing
: with the Viper/Jessica familial connection
: in some manner. I always liked Claremont's
: idea that Jessica was the Viper's daughter,
: so I'm glad the matter is being brought up
: again, at least in some form.
