The one last glimmer of hope is...

that some people have reminded me that Bendis has in fact lied in the past in order to preserve surprises in past storylines.
Some people (who aren't even Spider-Woman fans) have said that the whole theme of the character from the getgo has been duplicity and twists, so this might be another layer of the same thing.
In other words, since Bendis did admit having lied regarding Ronin/Daredevil (the original concept) this might be yet another misdirection to make sure fanboys don't suspect that Spider-Woman is indeed pretending to be the Queen, in order to beat the Invasion from the inside out.

I certainly wanna believe that...it sucks that the last 3 years have been a lie and nothing but hype that would go nowhere.
Why the ORIGIN, the Essentials, all the buzz, for this?

I will keep my fingers crossed till the end, but at this point, if she is indeed the Queen, I will not be surprised.
