Haven't read the issue yet, but someone please spoil away.
However, if it's what someone at the Jinxworld said "she exploded in a burst of green energy" that isn't magic and it's not new either.
She has focused all her bio-electricity into one huge-ass blast of venom-energy before, once when she fought Morgan Le Fay all the way back in Spider-Woman # 40 (LA Morte De Jessica)-she actually blinded the witch momentarily- and another time when she fought the X-man I think.
If anyone has scans, cool.
I have to get the issue to assess exactly what I think it is, but as for the magic thing...who knows.
We all know that Morgan always wanted Jessica for some not-to-clearly-explained reason.
And if Jessica turns out to have some sort of mystical energies in her, it wouldn't be an arbitrary thing, she was conceived, born and raised in a mountain that was the prison of an elder Chaos god, and there is a history that hints at Jessica possibly having some eldritch energies lacing her essence...

: I'd rather it be Modred the Mystic that helps
: Jess. I preferred him as the dark hero he
: debuted as rather than Generic Mystic Bad
: Guy #812 he devolved into.
