It is pretty much canon at this point, as Natasha was at least familiar with the Winter Soldier during the Soviet period. While she may not have known he was THE Bucky of WW II fame and believed he was an American agent of some kind, it is pretty much established that Natasha has some sort of Soviet derivative of the SSS keeping her young.
