I would assume the events of NEW AVENGERS #32 are at least a month or two prior to the events of WORLD WAR HULK. If anything, the weather disturbances that bring the plane down might be in reference to the events of MIGHTY AVENGERS, with Ultron altering the weather patterns around the globe, a la Ming the Merciless from FLASH GORDON. Surprised they didn't crash into Dr. Hans Zarkov's lab...
