Remember when the X-Men guest-starred in her original series (battling along-side her against Black Tom, Juggernaut and Siryn)? She later visited the X's in New York and helped battle Caliban? After she died and was later resurrected (and was powerless), she appeared in X-Men again and tried to help them against Freedom Force (the former Brotherhood of Evil Mutants)...that issue was also Jessica's first meeting with the second Spider-Woman (she was pretty peeved that someone else had taken her name). I'm sure you know all of this, Tom...But some folks may not know. --Previous Message--

FOR SHAME, TOM...LOL!
: I honestly don't think she is a Skrull.
:
: That "I'm sorry" she uttered right
: before venom-blasting him to kingdom come is
: the key, methinks, why would a Skrull say
: that?
: Jessica is fond of Wolvie, they have a long
: history together that harkens back to
: Madripoor, and she wasn't exactly thrilled
: about doing what she was about to do, but
: she felt she had to, for whatever reason.
:
: You have to give Bendis credit that this is
: opening a million questions now.
: Is she doing triple agent duties FOR Tony
: this time?
: Was she pretending in front of the NA that
: she wanted to take Skrullectra to Tony, when
: what she will really do is take her to Nick
: Fury, wherever he is?
: The plot thickens...

: Seriously, WTF?!? I honestly haven't a
: clue
: on whether or not Spider-Woman is a Skrull
: or what! Her eyes are jade green, yet she
: shoots venom blasts and conks out Wolverine.
: Skrulls cannot duplicate powers without
: some sort of technological aid, I assume, so
: this is a total WHA THE!?! moment. She
: picks up the Skrull body and slings it over
: her shoulder and walks coldly away from the
: plane wreck. ?!?!?
:
: And why does Hawkeye tell her,
: "You've never been dead before".
: Granted, he wasn't part of the Avengers when
: she died at the end of SPIDER-WOMAN #50, so
: he might not have a clue...or has that been
: retconned away?
:
: So...is this a Skrull or is it the real
: deal?!?
:
