Slight mis-interpretation there.
I read it as she joined thepro-reg side because she believed in the law and THEN fell in love with the Shroud, who persuaded her to become anti-reg.
He could have turned in his identity and their relationship and heroing could have gone on with no problem.
My point is that I didn't read it as she originally joined the pro-eg soide to aid the anti-reg.
