Posted by James Hunter on 3/28/2007, 10:18:03, in reply to "Re: Arachne Spoilers" I read it as she joined thepro-reg side because she believed in the law and THEN fell in love with the Shroud, who persuaded her to become anti-reg. He could have turned in his identity and their relationship and heroing could have gone on with no problem. My point is that I didn't read it as she originally joined the pro-eg soide to aid the anti-reg. Cheers. James. --Previous Message--

Slight mis-interpretation there.
: I know there are some readers who are
: anti-reg (that's a whole seperate discssion
: though, and you know my opinion ) but I've
: known even anti-reg supporters to
: acknowledge that Julia was wrong.
:
: Absolutely. And there are pro-reg readers
: who think that Tony, Carol, etc, have done
: wrong. There is quite a mix of reaction.
:
: My personal attitude is, if she was
: anti-reg, WHY did she sign up in the first
: place, Peter's change of side made sense
: after he saw the Negative zone prison but
: Julia had *no* reason to change sides. She
: signed p because she believed in the law,
:
: No, she didn't. She signed up so that she
: could infiltrate the forces hunting down
: heroes and help them to escape--she
: explained this in MS MARVEL #7.
