Posted by Gary on 1/24/2005, 2:06 pm Mike Betts and Wife, Car Accident in Mansfield Playing in a Coed tournament today with the Seminoles, Mike Betts and Kari were on their way to the Championship Game. In a tragic turn of events, they were in a Head on Car Accident. Betts recieved only bumps and brusies. Kari passed away at 11pm Sat @ Harris Methodist Hospital in Ft. Worth. Subject: Betts Tournament
It looks like we will have the tournament on the 12th and 13th of feb.
We have many sponsors who have given from the heart to make this a big tournament.
The tournament will be in McKinney at this time .
It could change.
We are looking for a company to give trophies if you have someone let us know.
We will have stuff for the kids to do at the park.
We know it's Valentine's Day weekend, but that is the only weekend that will work with all the other tournaments going on other weekends. Send us your team information, phone number of the coach. Please pass this email on.

I just dropped him off a the funeral home to arrange funeral details with Kari's Family and with Vernon & the Kids.
