Posted by Jim Cary Softball Bat Approved for play in: ** SSWC ** SSUSA ** SPA ** ISA ** Half Century ** Las Vegas Senior Softball Announcing the hottest bat ever made and its been certified by Senior Softball USA (sswc) , Softball Players Association (spa), ISA Senior and the Florida Half Century. Its has passed the 1.20 BPF test and is 1.20 lab certified. CE Composites, Anaconda/Trump, Combat and I have been working on this for months and its now official and ready to be delivered. I have them in stock for immediate delivery. Senior softball allows bats that are 1.20 BPF certified. This bat has already been certified by those associations. In the past the hottest softball bats have had a durability issue. This bat has been tested extensively by some of the greatest players in the country today. My first prototype lasted for over 2,000 swings and those swings were put on by Mike Macenko, The Randy Smith 50+ Super Major National Champion softball team, Kevin Schulstrom and the Schone's Chiropractor team. Many of the swings were in batting practice in the morning with wet balls because of dew on the ground. Balls were hit consistently in the 350 ft. range with some going as far as 450 ft. I have hit this bat in many practice sessions and have launched it farther than with my Ultra II's. I have a preference to end loaded bats and my Senior Anaconda Combat is a 27 endload. The Ultra II doesn't come in an endloaded model. For those of you who prefer a balanced bat you may not have the same experience but this bat also comes in a balanced model. Weights range from 26 to 30 with both an endload and a balanced version. We have worked hard to bring to the senior softball player a bat that not only hits to the max but puts durability back into the game. We decided to keep the price down to $190 so we are not offering a warranty with the bat. We easily could have put a warranty with it and raised the price to the same $300 plus levels. We have succeeded to bring the player a bat that is a 10 in all three areas of 1. Price, 2. Durability and 3. most importantly performance. I have put my personal reputation on the line with this bat. I have tested it extensively and will personally use it. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call me. I love talking softball and I especially love talking about our new bat. Jim Cary seniorsoftballguru 903-297-4878 Mike Macenko chat board post: I have been hitting the New Anaconda/Combat Senior Softball Bat. I liked the bat right from the start. It might be a little stiff until you get to 50 swings. Now, even though it might be stiff the ball fly's off of it right out of the wrapper, and I do mean fly. But after that the bat gets really hot. It starts to flex more and more. I hit with a light one (28 oz.) in Columbus a number of weeks back. I did not hit a lot of homeruns. (I was actually over swinging with the bat.) But the ones that I did hit in the air with the right trajectory went a long way. Then Kevin sent the bat to some other players to hit in Texas. The night before that tourney I hit some 44/375 MCT balls after it poured rain and it was muggy as hell and the ball still really came off of the bat. Now I get a second one 2 weeks ago that weights 30 ounces. I have been using it in the Bedford Heights Men's League (Cleveland, Ohio Suburb). All I can say is that I hit a ball the other night that might have been the quickest homerun I have ever hit. I know I am 50 yrs old but this ball took off like nothing I have hit in a while. The ball probably went 340 feet only. But it was the quickest 340 I have ever hit. I have hit with a couple different Ultra2's and this bat will hit them just as far. As a matter of fact I have hit them further with this bat. But one thing is for sure, the bat is still holding up with no problems. I try and take batting practice everyday or every other day. So I have put probably 750 swings on it. I am getting ready to go out and hit some more today. No blemishes what so ever. One thing about the bat that is good is that it seems the easier I swing it the better the ball comes off of it. When you try to kill it and you hit it flush, it will knuckle just like any other bat. The ball goes the farthest when you spin it with the right trajectory. Some players have said that they want a bat for the average player not for superstar like Mike Macenko. I am not a super power hitter. On Friday August 18th, 2006 at ISSA Senior Nationals they had a home run derby. I am 63 years old with many injuries and was playing only part time in this tourney because of injuries. The field was divided into 50 + and 60 + and would crown two winners. I won the 60 + title and outhit the 50 + winner. These were some of the biggest power hitters in the country. Quite a few of the 50 + players were using the Ultra and most were swinging the Ultra II. I hit 5 Hr's out of 8 swings over a 300 ft. fence 10 feet high and I did it twice. How did I manage to win? This bat is for real and soon senior players from all across the country will be swinging it. Yes, I stand to profit with this bat so my testimony may be discounted by some of you, but I did win the derby and I am not considered to be a top HR hitter in the country. Jim Cary
