So Mama, what do you think of it after having some time to play? My son played it right away so I finally had my turn to play for a bit yesterday. So far I like it. My sim only has a part-time job for now so I can focus more on actual game play. Although I suppose I could try to find a money cheat so she wouldn't need to work at all. 
I created a frugal, bookworm, loner, gardening, and I forget the other part. I'm glad I went with a loner sim. She can spend time at home working on her garden and I don't need to constantly find someone to yack with.
