Use the hot chocolate machine and make them drink hot chocolate.
That worked for my cold Sims who had been out playing in the snow.
Also if they get overheated, have them drink the juice snack from the fridge or use the juice machine.
But be aware that you have ot have soem fruit in your inventory to use it.
