Those are the main two reasons I see.
: If the New Gods get to be first string (and I
: certainly love the New Gods)what about the
: big red cheese? I do believe there are a lot
: of people out there kindly disposed towards
: Captain Marvel, who just haven't gotten the
: opportunity to read his stuff. This is
: pretty much due to the fact there are
: minimal graphic novels of the early exploits
: of Captain Marvel out there in print, and a
: Didio run DC is incapable of running a
: character who is the antithesis of this
: blood soaked, grimy feel they have attempted
: to instill in their books. But its
: appealing. We fans should have an easier
: time getting on a Captain Marvel board,
: rather than most of us missing his location
: entirely due to it being second string. I
: consider Blue Beetle second string. Booster
: Gold is second string. Surely not the Big
: Red Cheese!
