: Billy Batson was one of the unofficial models
: for Ed Elric, THE Fullmetal Alchemist.
: Freddy Freeman/Captain Marvel Junior has
: inspired more than a few bishonen (pretty
: boy) heroes in both shonen (boys) AND shojo
: (girls) manga (Japanese comics). And Mary
: was one of the inspirations for Eclair from
: Kiddy Grade and Winry from FMA.
:
: Manga appeals to kids in a way that American
: comics don't anymore. They're fun and
: imaginative with excellent plotting, pacing
: and characterization. So it would make sense
: if Billy, Mary or Freddy were manga fans.

where do these guys get this manga crap? luther is a clone of sivana, superboy & suprgirl are clones of captain marvel jr. and mary marvel, & krypto's a knock off of hoppy the marvel bunny. just give credit to captain marvel for being superman's one true match. i'll admit the that the cheesyness has got to go, but is that as bad as wearing red underwear? dc messed up with captain marvel way too much in the 33 years that they had him and now it's time the cap be taken seriously. they need to get rid of the "holy moly" that's held him back for so long.
