Posted by Sharika on 7/20/2002, 3:35 pm I still want to beat the crap out of Felicia Scorpio, but the punching bag helped. I swear Taggert, if that psycho twit gets in my face again, I will not be held responsible for my actions. Look Dara, Felicia was just upset because her daughter asked you to speak at her school instead of her. Marcus, was I supposed to say no to the girl? Since when is speaking at an elementary school a crime? It's not. Dara, think about it from Felicia's point of view. You're dating her ex-husband. She probably thinks her daughter would confide in you on things she would normally talk about with her mother. Marcus, I have no sympathy for that woman. I can't help that she's jealous. Felicia was the one who messed up her life and marriage. All the times Mac would tell me about his martial problems, I never once said a bad word about her to him. I knew how he felt about her. He wanted to save his marriage. He loved her for a long time and she just took him for granted. He finally realized that she didn't love him the same way he loved her. That was hard for him. Mac is a kind and decent man. Even if I wasn't dating him, I would want him to be happy no matter who he's with. He didn't deserve what Felicia did to him. He's a good man and I have no intentions of letting him get away. You're very protective of him Dara. Marcus, I would feel that way with any friend. I don't like seeing my friends being treated like dirt. You're my friend too and if I felt Alexis wasn't treating you right, I would be in her face too. Well, we're fine. She treats me very well. Taggert informs her. Glad to hear it. So how come you didn't go with Alexis to have dinner with her family? I didn't want to intrude. She was just reunited with her sister and the dinner should be family only. I would have felt like an outsider, so I decided to pass. I did promise Alexis that I would go next time. Marcus, I know what you mean about not wanting to intrude on a family situation. Mac wants me to have dinner with him and the girls tomorrow, but I don't want to intrude on his time with them. And with Felicia going ballistic on me, that's more of a reason not to go. Dara, I don't blame you for feeling that way but I think you should reconsider. Mac wants to include you completely in his life and the girls are a part of his life. But they're Felicia's children. Dara, what if Mac does decide to seek custody of the girls? Alexis told me that he has a good chance of winning. Are you going to stop seeing him if that happens? NO! Dara takes a deep breath and exhales. Look Marcus, I love Mac. I admire him for wanting to take responsiblity for two children who aren't even his biologically. I told him that I would support him, no matter what he decides. Dara, Mac is lucky to have you in his life. I think he asked you to dinner with him and the girls, so the girls can get to know you and vice versa. Maxie asking you to speak at her school yesterday was a first step in accepting Mac's new life. I'm sure the divorce was hard on them, but if she's willing to take that step, you should too. At least think about it. You're right Marcus. The least I can do is think about it. Thank you for listening. You're welcome. That's what friends are for. Taggert and Dara continue with their dinner.

During their dinner at the PC Grill, Dara was explaining to Taggert how Felicia's daughter Maxie asked her to speak at her school for career day and that Felicia stormed into her office.
Wow, no wonder you were beating up that punching bag. You should try Tae Bo. Did hitting the bag help, in getting all of that frustration out?
