Cumberland opened season on Friday at Capitol City Classic in Montgomery. Beat Thomas University 11-9. Former Lebanon and vol St. pitcher Jake Gray picked up a save. Former Trousdale County star Craig Moreland had good day with a couple doubles. In game 2, CU beat University of Mobile 15-5. Cumberland hit 5 homeruns, and juco transfer Jared Brown picked the win.
