Posted by Jason on 2/4/2003, 8:36 am Over the past year,the female smoking rate in Korea rose from 3.1% to 9%.At the same time the male smoking rate declined from 69.9% to 60.5%.
Great news from the Korean Times..."The traditional taboo against women smoking has lost it's power in Korean society and a growing number of women,especially young ones,are lighting up".
