About twenty years ago, I saw an Asian film in a movie theatre that specialized in small films and foreign films. I wonder if anyone knows its name? Early in the film, a male teacher gives a class a lesson in how to blow smoke rings. As the plot unfolds, he is shown having good relationships with his students (college age?) but somehow gets into trouble and gets fired. In just about the last scene, one of the girls he had taught, who liked him, is either auditioning for a teaching job or in some way being observed now as a potential teacher herself. As a kind of tribute to him, she gives the same lesson in how to blow smoke rings. Any chance anyone here knows this film? Thanks.
