ask the guy at the electronics shop to see the new canons...especially the elura 2 and elura 2 mc.
if i was doing candids i would hollow out a book so teh lense has a hole in the spine and i could look like i was reading it to see the screen...just a hint i got from ian flemming.
the small tapes were mini dv tapes...they do have 90 minute (120 on lp) tapes now...but they are $20 instead of $10 like the 60 minute tapes.
i have to debunk one think....i have pounded the ever living crap out of the sony vaio laptop i have and it still works..unfortunately. i have beat it so hard i can size gloves for my right fist based on the indentions in the keyboard.
as much as a tech board would be a good idea, i doubt youd get many takers as most producers act like its a state secret how they shoot vids...and what cameras they use.
