There are two possibilities.It could be anti-propaganda.Antis often claim that due to the "evil" tobacco companies there is a "huge increase in female smoking" or "more women are smoking then ever". I wish this was the case,but it's totally wrong.For example,smoking among women in the U.S has gone down slowly but consistently since the 1960s.
the news show.In many Asian countries,the male smoking rate is over 50%.Of course,this is much,much higher than in Western nations.So,that's what you might have heard.
