They've just brought out a new series called "Island", which was not originally Japanese, but Korean. It stars a young woman named Won Miho, who is involved somehow with the supernatural - and she smokes cigarettes! In the second issue (48 pages)
Made a boo-boo: the third episode of "Cowboy Bebop", where the cute girl smokes a cigar, is titled "Honky Tonk Women". Her name (in English)
is Faye Valentine, and I've seen pictures of her
with cigarettes, from later in the series. We'll see.
she is shown smoking five times! Judging from what I've seen of Korean TV, I thought they were strict about showing women smoking; this comic really took me by surprise!
