I purchased a factory certified pre-owned Sig 229 .40 cal S & W last month. I chose the "shooters" grade instead of the "collectors" grade, as the shooters grade was about $ 50.00 less. My gun has visable wear (from holster) but shoots very well. I put about 75 rounds through it today without a jam or misfire. In retrospect, I think I should have paid the extra $ 50.00 and gotten the collectors grade, as I will probably be keeping the pistol for a long time.
