I am considering a P226ST for IDPA competition, two reasons being heavier gun less recoil in 9mm, and 9mm being so inexpensive to shoot, this is not a carry gun at all, strictly competition, does anybody own one, and can i expect to be satisfied with it, or will i have buyers remorse? I currently own a P226 old style and am classified as expert with it, i own a 1911 .45 and can only classify as marksman, so, these are my reasons for thinking heavy 9mm.
