The U denoted serial number is very, very rare!!! If you have one, hang on to it, or if you are looking to purchase one, do it. Sig made a very limited production of P226 Navys as a test run. Only 30 units were produced. They were never intended to leave the factory, and they were denoted with the standard sig U serial prefix. They are ultra rare and demand a premium to collectors, many of them do not have a certificate of authenticity due to the fact that they were not intended for civilian purchase, however navys with the NSW prefix should have a certificate.
