It can be done by delicately removing the pin on the middle part of the left side of the slide. How I know is? my pin came out half way during rapid fire drills. The pin is knurled and is pressed in from what SIG told me. IF your pin is out, it is a single use pin only and can not be reused. SIG will send you a new one recommended for your weapon. When i removed, i then turned the slide upside down. THe firing pin then came out. The trick is putting the the knurled pin back in for there is a small part you must push down on the right of the slide to allow the pin to go through all the way. remember this is left to right only.
