I was working back in the DC area in Feb and visited the new Smithsonian Air & Space Museum out near Dulles Airport. There isn't any submarine stuff there but it was fantastic. Where else could you find an SR-71 Blackbird, one of the Space Shuttles and a Concord under one roof. Plus about 80-90 other planes from Wright Brothers types to military planes including a WWII Corsair (one of my favorite WWII fighters), an F-4 Phantom and one or two Russian MIG's. If you have the time and are in the area go see it.
