I was aboard when we made the rescue. It was after we returned from the north pole and rondezoued with Skate. We were not going to Seattle. We had left there and was headed back to Pearl. The aircraft was a P2V Neptune antisub acft that we were doing operations with. The only thing I remember is that no one was hurt during the ditching. One acft crewmember hurt his arm getting aboard the boat.
