I was sailing my Sandpiper 565 (18,6") along friends on their Oday 222. Those were among the last times of the season.
This is the Saint-Lawrence river, near Montreal. There is about 1 1/2 kts of current in that region so we need a little bit of wind to make good progress up current. We all have to deal with our local conditions.
