converting a mono hull to a tri

I have kicked around the idea for years and after reading in the SCA about the Sea Pearl conversions I am beginnig to really think why not? I have a line on a very cheap Catalina 22 that I am seriously thinking I could add Hobie 16 or 18 amma's to; similar to the tremolinos. I posted this over on the TSBB also hoping to get lots of feedback. What do you think???
