This clip is about my cruise in the historical Lachine Channel in Montreal. I had to take the mast down to allow the passage under the many low bridges along the way. This channel was made in the 1800 in order to go around the Lachine rapids to allow shipping toward the great lakes. This channel was the Saint-Lawrence seaway precursor.
First we see the passage under the Jacques Cartier bridge. The current is already pretty strong at this place. Then we enter the channel and its 5 locks system. The entry is at Montreal "Old Port" .
After we went to a bay in Saint-Louis lake, west of Montreal for the night. We went trough the channel again the next morning and back home in the east end of Montreal.
