Hmmm..I could be mistaken..what I saw was from a com-pac dealer website called gisails.com who are based in Punta Gorda Florida...I am sure they mentioned 8 stays in all on the specs for this model on the website so I tried to closely watch the demo video of the Com-pac 23 to see where the extra stays we're exactly. Seemed to be two strange diagonal lines coming rearward and down from mid-mast tangs but it was hard to tell...I'll have to take another look...
