Alex, I owned a Bristol 22 for 4 years. We sailed her in 4-6 foot seas and she handled it better than us. We once sailed for 6 hours straight with the port rail buried. She handles well and with 1100 lbs. of lead at the very bottom of the encapsulated keel, she'll pull herself up from a knock down.
