Okay...I have that book also; written by a "Guy Pennant" (which was a pseudonym for Maurice griffiths' lady secretary who held down the fort at "Yachting Monthly" while he was on war duty prior to 1945). Alan Buchanan is, I believe, still alive and active well up in his 80s...a feature in "Classic Boat" a few years back gave a lot of information about him (he also rides horses - dressage). Fascinating man and my favourite of the British designers. Looking forward to something about him.
