sean, where i don't really see the monty as towable by the 'average tow vehicle,' it's more like an ultimate boat to me. that and the bluewater blackwatch 18 (which i sailed on 25 years ago). i've lusted after both of them for a while, since they're about the same size, very high quality and are both pretty rare birds. i'll have one or the other soon, since i've gone through the 'first boat(s)' phase, pretty much. btw - have you already been, or thought about going down to san carlos and sailing the sea of cortez yet? i've been watching your site for quite a while now, and it's fun to see the updates...
