Guys;
I have a Ensenada 20 design by Lyle Hess that for us has been a perfect shallow draft boat...she is very nimble makes great head way against the wind and currents clips along at about 6 knots at full speed and is perfect for two on weekends or even week long trips...we rescued ours from a certain death as it was completely rotten inside from neglect and I don’t believe the deck fittings had been recaulked since it was sent out from the factory in the 70s but with is pop top high waterboards swing keel and rudder and trailerable design it may be what you are looking for...they can usually be had for around 1000 bucks if you are willing to add some elbow grease to "make it your own"...
Fair winds to you all...
