The boat is a Sirocco 15 - a 15 foot daysailer. It is moored at my cottage for the summer. The water is fresh and our boats have never had more than a slight skim of brown slime on the bottom after an entire summer in the water. I will be doing all the painting and repair work myself so I'm not worried about labour costs. Also, the wetted surface when the boat is moored is very small. I don't care about the antifouling properties, I just don't want the paint to come off. I'm also hoping for a smooth finish on the bottom so it looks good when heeled over as well. Here are some pictures of the restoration that lays ahead for me.
