The Monty's are a boat I would well consider as a potential one to upgrade for use in crossings.
I am impressed with the fixed ballast, ballast displacement ratio and overall build quality.
Persoanlly though I am a bit of a wuss, and don't much cotton to the idea of being out at sea subject to big storms in a small boat.
Truth be told I sort of view a 30 foot boat with standing headroom as a small boat too.
Don't think I would really enjoy it in a 87 foot schooner either with the bow diggin into seas and the deck awash.
