I sailed a Halman 20 (a hip-pocket, big sister to the Nordica 16) all around Lake Superior for many years. Very sea- worthy and comfortable in all seas. Surprising agile and fast for a full keel design. I believe the later model Nordica 16's had a self-bailing cockpit, but I my be wrong. If the price is right...buy it!
