It's been almost 8 months since the last quiz was posted here. Time for another one!
This is a slightly different quiz, centered around two types of tragic, fatal events - let's call them A and B. (So, to make this absolutely clear, we are not talking about two specific events, but rather two KINDS of tragic events, both with fatal results.)
All the five main characters of this quiz have this in common: they all had one or more family members who fell victim to "tragic event type A", and one or more other family members who fell victim to "tragic event type B".
So here we go:
1: I am the son of a king, but possibly better known for my artistic skills. My brother (1a) fell victim to A, while my father's first cousin (1b) and my great-great-great-great-grandfather (1c) both fell victim to B.
2: I am a Duke. Both my father (2a) and my first cousin (2b) fell victim to A, while two of my ancestors (one great-grandfather (2c) and one great-great-grandfather (2d)) both fell victim to B.
3: I am a royal consort. My sister (3a) fell victim to A, while my grandfather (3b) and my uncle (3c) both fell victim to B.
4: I am not a royal, but my father was a Head of State. (Still, the media sometimes refer to my family as "the closest thing to royalty" in my country...). My father (4a) and one of my uncles (4b) both fell victim to A, while my brother (4c), another one of my uncles (4d) and one of my aunts (4e) all fell victim to B.
5: I am not royal either, though I founded a "dynasty" that was to play a very important role in the history of my country, and I was my country's first leader after it gained independence. My daughter (5a) and my grandson (5b) - both of whom also had the same position as I had had before them - both fell victim to A, while another of my grandsons fell victim to B.
So, who are the five main people, who are their relatives who all fell victim to tragic events of either type A or type B (NB: one of them occurs twice in this quiz) - and last, but not least, what kind of events are A and B?
