Moreover,it was not that easy! I struggled with the link,thinking at first that all the rulers concerned had been second sons which seemed to fit the bill at first until some of the answers began to knock that one sideways.
Knowing that most of your quizzes contain at least one Scandinavian monarch I searched at first for a Norwegian king who fit the bill but was stumped with his being the son of a saint who was not a king. Eventually,I researched some famous Danish kings and finally found that Valdemar I seemed to fit the bill.
I usually manage to stumble across one or two new interesting facts whilst researching the answers to your quizzes,so well done and thanks once again,Bjarne!!
