My father has been a rather controversial figure, and my mother’s marriage to him was difficult to accept for Her Majesty, my maternal grandmother. A few years ago, my husband and I were rather a nuisance to our royal relatives in my mother’s country.
And more in particular the B-P family's behaviour in those days caused (lots of) controversy in 1964
