Gordon Waller, one half of British Invasion-era duo Peter & Gordon, died on July 17 after suffering cardiac arrest the day before. He was 64.
Waller and Peter Asher hit the top of the UK and US charts with their first release, the Lennon-McCartney-penned "A World Without Love". Their other hits include "Nobody I Know", "I Don't Want To See You Again", "I Go To Pieces", "True Love Ways", "Woman", "Lady Godiva" and "Knight In Rusty Armor".
