Four losses in one week...unbelievable!
Ed McMahon -- No one could ever belt out "Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere's Johnny!" like Ed. And he was always a tremendous assest to Jerry Lewis' telethons.
Farrah Fawcett -- Many a girl wanted to be her, and I can't think of one red-blooded American boy who did NOT have had the wonderful dream of being married to her, holding her in his arms, and running his fingers through her long, soft, lovely hair. A true Angel inside and out. I caught only the last 15 minutes of the 20/20 tribute to her, but it was wonderful, especially with the still-incredibly gorgeous Jaclyn Smith.
Michael Jackson -- I was not a die-hard fan of his, but I enjoyed his work from The Jackson 5 to Bad. A most shocking, unexpected loss. My favorite songs of his are "Ben", "Rock With You", "Billie Jean", and "Thriller"
Sky Saxon, lead singer and bassist of 60's garage band The Seeds -- Not nearly as successful as the other three, but his contributions to rock and roll should certainly not go unnoticed. The pulsing beat of "Pushin' Too Hard" says it all.
May these fine talents R.I.P.
